They are very keen to hear from anyone who is interested in the local history and they would particularly like to hear from the younger members of the community in order to bring new energy to the group.  History is an important part of who we are and it would be nice to know that the history of St Dogmaels can live on in the capable hands of new members who care about their heritage and history.

Interested parties should contact the groups chairman Norman High by ringing him on 01239 613 590

Steps to Enterprise

Aled Harries - Saer Coed / Carpenter

I left school at sixteen and started an apprenticeship to become a carpenter. After completing my apprenticeship I was employed as a carpenter for two years but was laid off last year. I had always wanted to be self-emplyed but was not in the financial position to set myself up in business. I then heard about the Steps to Enterprise project at The Coach House. I made an appointment to see Angharad and I was given excellent practical advice and also learnt that I might be eligible for financial help. Without this help I would not have been able to get started. Since becoming self-employed I have been fortunate to get work sub-contracting for a local building contractor Liam Siggins. I have also started to buld up my customer base and I am keen to grow my business therefore if you need a quote please get in touch. I am very gratefull to Hanes Llandoch and the Steps to Enterprise team at The Coach House for showing faith in me. Here are my contact details:
