Llandudoch

Hanes Llandoch has previously run the successful SEER (Social Enterprise and Economic Regeneration) project during 2008 - 2010 from the Coach House Visitor Centre St Dogmaels.   This project enabled us to develop various initiatives and activities such as:

  • Tuesday local producers market
  • Craft markets
  • Development support for enterprising individuals
  • Various training provision
  • Workshops and classes

My colleague Melrose and I have enjoyed being part of the SEER project and to work alongside all the staff, trustees and volunteers at both Hanes Llandoch and the Coach House Visitor Centre and the European team within Pembrokeshire County Council.

The SEER project has now ended, and as from the 1st of April, we are pleased to announce that Hanes Llandoch will be running a new project which will be called "Camau i Fentergarwch / Steps to Enterprise".

This project will be partly funded through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and funding provided by the Welsh Assembly Government.

For more information about the project, please contact Angharad at the centre in person, by phone on 01239 615 389 or by e-mail: Mae'r cyfeiriad ebost yn cael ei warchod rhag spam bots, rhaid i chi alluogi Javascript i'w weld.

Aled Harries - Saer Coed / Carpenter

I left school at sixteen and started an apprenticeship to become a carpenter. After completing my apprenticeship I was employed as a carpenter for two years but was laid off last year. I had always wanted to be self-employed but was not in the financial position to set myself up in business. I then heard about the Steps to Enterprise project at The Coach House. I made an appointment to see Angharad and I was given excellent practical advice and also learnt that I might be eligible for financial help.
