The Coach House

The coach house is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Johnson as Heritage Officer.

“I’m Glen Johnson, the Heritage Officer for Hanes Lland’och, and my job is to research, survey, record, archive and interpret the history and heritage of St Dogmaels and the wider community for a variety of uses. Some days I’m out and about walking fields after ploughing to see if anything of interest has come to the surface, or using our Ground Processing Radar to see what still lies hidden. At other times I’m scanning documents and photographs for our new community archive and putting together public exhibitions of some of the best material.”

Glen, local historian and author is well known in the Cardigan and St Dogmaels area for his enthusiasm and encyclopaedic memory! He will be creating and curating an archive of photographs and documents for the area which will be useful for historians and researchers alike. He will also be arranging some exhibitions and engaging with lots of history projects.
