The course will introduce various traditional and contemporary techniques on cotton cloth using hot liquid wax and fibre-reactive dyes. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills, which can be used for pictorial or abstract work. Wendy Evans BA Hons ATD is a professional, contemporary batik artist and a qualified and very experienced art teacher.

Teena Gould - Ceramics

Working in the area of ceramics; making sculptural ceramics, murals and mosaics for both two and three dimensional forms. Experience ceramic tiles which are handbuilt relief, textured and patterned and then glazed, likewise the sculptural forms. All the work is suitable for interior and exterior locations. Work alongside Teena at her beautiful purpose built studio near the coastal village of Llangrannog on the fringes of Cardigan bay and experience a day of relaxation, whilst learning a new skill and feel totally invigorated thereafter.
